Through the years of Covid lockdowns, I spent some time in Turkey in 2021 to be with a family member and ended up with some free time in between the scatterings of online work I could find. Nonetheless it was an opportunity to explore the surroundings and local cultures, albeit through an odd time (understatement), but a time I still found enjoyment in photographing ordinary life to ease the lockdown-weary mind. These photos are from both the port\tourist town of Kuşadası and the city of Izmir. There were periods of strict curfews and lockdowns, as many of you will painfully remember in other parts of the world, so whenever it was possible to escape to the outdoors I was out there strolling around. Enjoy these scatterings of street shots.
