During my time in Thailand, and in between street photo and documentary projects, I worked as a photographer for UN Women, specifically through their 'He For She' campaign against GBV (gender based violence), the first of its kind in South East Asia and as part of the wider 'Me Too' movement globally. The campaign saw various speakers bravely share their stories and their on-going work for gender equality in Thailand, touring multiple universities to highlight these issues (to students, the public, government officials and diplomats) which are still largely taboo in a country that often shames and silences women who've been through forms of sexual abuse and harassment.
